Saadiyat Beach Club

You know that feeling you get when you find the most amazing spot for your vacation and don't feel like sharing it to the world? You just want to keep this place for yourself, in fear of it getting polluted or ruined by the society and overexposure?? That's exactly the feeling I got when I first stepped into Saadiyat Beach Club in Abu Dhabi, formerly known as The Monte-Carlo Beach Club. I have heard about it from my friend in Kuwait once, and then AD local and entrepreneur Alia Al Qassimi swore by it. I'm glad we had the time to squeeze in a visit during our mini Abu Dhabi tour. The place is so serene and beautiful in every possible way. It had the most pristine beach I have ever seen. The club has four restaurants and lounges, a 650 square-metre pool, a spa and a gym, and private access to Saadiyat’s nine-kilometre breathtaking natural beach. I wish it was a hotel so that I couls stay there as long as I want to!

Unfortunately for me, this is an exclusive members-only kind of club. I'm not sure if they allow for one-day passes, will need to ask about that.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... Winner of the Best Women's Magazine and Magazine of the Year award for 2005, the magazine reportedly has over 14 million readers worldwide with 26 editions in 13 languages across the world. Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
