The FA Gallery - Part I

The first thing that crossed my mind when I stepped inside the FA Gallery was “I want to move in and live here forever!”

Situated in an historic Arabic House opposite to Amiri Hospital, and owned by Al Otaibi Family, the FA Gallery is a Boutique and Art Gallery that opened on 10/10/10. The ground floor is an art gallery which hosts wonderfully exquisite work by regional and international artists. And the 1st floor has a small collection of fashion and accessories for men and women by South American brands. I think they will be introducing more brands in the future so the collection should be bigger and better.

I must say the place is just so serene and magical. I loved the fact that when they revamped the place they stayed true to its original look. I loved the mix of old and new. I’ve been in and out up and down the entire gallery, everything was simply beautiful. The art pieces on display and the interior were a feast for the eyes.
This is exactly what we need in Kuwait. We need more cultural and artistic hubs. All in all, it was a superb visual experience and a must-visit.

I have total of 3 posts dedicated for this gallery because I wanted to share everything I liked there and I couldn’t just put them all in one post. So enjoy!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
