Kids'R'Us

I have received this by e-mail from a Kuwaiti guy who sells Kids'r'us tops online on CafePress.
CafePress is a community of 6.5 million members, where anyone can go online to create, sell, and buy T-Shirts and other "print-on-demand" products.

Speaking of Kids'r'us, did you know that the name was actually created by a Bayan Bilingual School's Student back in the 80's? Apparently, when Al-Ghanim company decided to open the toy store, it approached the school and announced a competition where students had to come up with a name for the store. And One Kuwaiti female BBS student won the competition. And that's how the brand was created. Nice!

whether taken or affiliated, the name of the student who suggested the name has to be revealed..as i believe the store successfuly played a big part in our childhood..no one can deny the effect of Kids r us on children in the eighties...lots of memories, and the toys were of high quality..
i still remember each and every toy i had from there..and cannot forget how i was dieing to get the sticker of the store on our car..which as i remember says: we went to Kids R Us....

I remember all the kids used to go to Kids R Us, and whenever I ask where it is they would say its next to Safeway. IT was recently that I knew there was one conveniently located in Salmiya. I should have been more of a nag, quiet kids don't get to have much toys.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
