I need a Cocktail.... Dress

Aren't you tired of that little black dress? I am! So I've decided to do a my homework and now I'm on the lookout for a daring and unique cocktail dress to complement my new sky-high heels and fake-tan. My first shopping destination was AlOthman.

I came across this stunning Proenza Schouler navy one shoulder dress, ruched from the front and adorned with one of spring/summer's most surprising trends.. Feathers! I'm not a huge fan of feathers but the way it is used on this dress makes it unbelievably chic and unique. The dress is retailed for KD 749.

My second option was this red hot Malandrino cocktail dress fir for a true fashion princess. Pair this Silk Chiffon Pleated red dress with gold accessories and cascading waves for a fresh evening twist. The price tag of the dress? KD 629.

OK, to me, this dress would not be an option for a cocktail dress, but I fell in love with it because it's sooo colorful and fun. It's nice for dressy formal occasions. The loose & bubbly shape of this Malandrino dress makes it easy to wear by skinny and curvaceous women. You can add a patent skinny belt if you want some definition. Finish the look with a peep-toe boots and you're ready to go. The dress is priced at KD 629.

Alothman is located at Mariam Complex, Salem AlMubarak St, Salmiya. For inquires, please call (+965) 575-4954.

Wow what a ripoff! Did they just drop the dollar sign and switch to KD? Seriously you can get even more stunning Malandrino dresses online for like half the price of those (which is closer to their ACTUAL retail price) :)

anonymous, I have a feeling you are confusing Catherine Malandrino with Malandrino.
Please tell us which web sites we can buy Malandrino and not the second line Catherine Malandrino

I was talking about the Catherine Malandrino line.. Sorry I didn't know there was a different Malandrino line. Well, in any case, I don't know where you can get Malandrino online. But Catherine Malandrino can be found on practically all the well-known luxury shopping sites.. I know net-a-porter.com has them for sure. Other sites that may have them are Nordstrom and Neimann Marcus.

Dear Anonymous, thank you for the info but I already knew that but I was trying to point it out to you.
Malandrino is the first line and is a much higher price point and I don't believe it is sold online.
So you see there is no rip off, they are 2 different lines.
I felt that I should make that clear.
Thank you
AlOthman

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
