Happy No more...

Today I have recieved a letter from one of the publishing companies I subscribed through to get my monthly fashion magazines fix. The letter said:
"I am sorry to inform you that Happy Magazine has ceased publication"
WHAAAAAT!!!!NOOOOOOOOO!! It can't be!!! HAPPY is my fashion insider!!!! My little black book!! How could this happen to me!
I'm no longer going to recieve my favourite magazine ever?! I loved everything about it.. to me it was the best fashion magazine ever. A Fashionista's bible by all means... HAPPY, please come back.

I would not worry about it too much as, the owner of Villa Moda Sheikh Majed Al Sabah launched a really funky magazine called Alef (www.alefmag.com) more than a year ago now, which is dedicated to the modern hip divas living in the Arab world. I tried to look for one of these must-have fashion “mags” and was estactic the other day when I saw them for sale in , Virgin and Dar Al Funoon! YIPEEE!!! for Alef magazine as we were needing a publication as funky as this which is a cross between WALLPAPER/VOGUE for us fashionistas.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
