Shopping Around Dubai Mall

This really is a long overdue post, especially in blogesphere's standards. It is time to catch up on my Dubai shopping finds. This post is dedicated to my favorite picks starting with Hermès Kelly shearling-lined muff (you carry it in a way where you tuck your hands in on the sides), a glamorous way to carry your essentials and keep your hands toasty at the same time, so unpractical for any kind of weather but it's sooo adorable.

Balenciaga platform sandals at Bloomingdales. I was hoping to see the colour block heels from Balenciaga's Fall 2010.

YSL cobalt-blue suede pumps

The chain detail on the heel of these Brian Atwood vamped-up pumps adds a nice element of surprise to any understated look

YSL matt golden cuffs? Yes please!

I didn't expect to see bags from S/S 2010 runways still on sale at Chanel's boutique in Dubai Mall.

I think this grey colored Chanel flap bag is from the new collection. Cute tweed detail!

I didn't see this version of the bow-pumps at Kuwait's LV boutique. These have shorter heels and bright yellow bow.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
