Dear Confashion: Re-selling My Gowns



Q: I have many evening gowns that are in excellent condition, but I think its time for me to say goodbye..i get invited to many weddings so I have many evening gowns that I want to re-cycle i.e sell at a good price. Is there a place that I can do this?

A: I have the same dilemma too! And honestly I'm not sure if there is such a place in Kuwait where it buys evening gowns at a good price. I know a place where you can donate them for charity. If you happen to know of such service, please do share in the comments sections. Thank you.

I know someone who sold her wedding dress after she got divorced but i am not sure where...

anyways why don't you girls try ChillPillBOx.com? She has a sale corner and i am already putting stuff up there for sale... i don't believe she ever sold an evening gown before but you could try and be the first? I have several evening dresses that go way back and i know that i won't be wearing them again! Some people do not mind if the dress was in a good condition or worn once...

I know that luluchic.net sells used handbags..not sure about evening gowns..maybe if you contact them they would sell them for you.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
