Miss me? No? Well I do and I miss my blog! So how about i kick start the posts with some over-the-top couture creations?? Back in January, I had the pleasure of meeting one of my most admired designers in the couture business, Ralph and Russo . After attending their breathtaking  fashion show (posted about it on my instagram and snapchat), I am still lost for words to describe this amazing experience where you get an up close and personal look at the incredible craftsmanship of couture by one of the biggest names in fashion. It's moments like these that I wish I had my high-res camera with me to capture these exquisite moments. Unfortunately I had to settle for my iPhone. The world of couture is very private and one must be invited to receive an appointment in the designers' Paris showrooms. Planning a trip to Berlin this Summer? Allow me to introduce you to an interior jewel in the heart of the city. Not far from KaDeWe , Berlin's version of Harrods: MILJØ INTERIOR . It stocks a variety of furniture and home accessories for the typical Nordic atmosphere. I fell in love with the way they visually merchandised the store, and how every item beautifully compliments its surroundings. They do have a shop online and they do ship internationally. You'll just need a translator as the site is not in English.

Which is more disturbing? The fact that it's nearly impossible to find someone in Kuwait to replicate the design and the layout of these tiles? or the fact that my converse sneakers are shown in every picture?! My apologies for that! These pictures were taken during my last visit to Berlin and they're original tiles from 1890's.

So I haven't been writing much reviews on here, but once I heard about multi-talented Bahrain-based interiors and space designer Ammar Basheir's latest retail adventure, I just had to post about it (and kick start my blogging days maybe?). The store really should earn a five star review, walking through this beyond beautiful gallery, one feels as if he/she is visiting the home of a very chic family, with a flair for retro designs. Allow me to introduce you to House of Teal , Bahrain's most contemporary furniture and lifestyle boutique demonstrating innovation and originality in all its products and visual merchandising.  The ultra glam boutique offers a diverse range of home inspirations that include sofas, dining ensembles, living room, bedroom furniture and home accessories. We went for a wedding in Bahrain over the weekend and of course during the day, we did some sightseeing and just chilled around. Bahrain is such a cozy and a beautiful country, the people who we have met during our quick trip were very genuine, humble and welcoming. Must make it a point to visit Bahrain at least once a year. Scroll down for some art inspo... One of my quick stop in Bahrain was  Al Riwaq Art Space , a not-for-profit space supporting contemporary art practices in Bahrain. Saudi Duo Basma and Noura Bouzo created this art installation called Al Maha . 15 limited edition pieces of oryx balloon sculptures to mirror the effect of the Terracotta Army (246 BCE). It is also a re-imaging of the work of Jeff Koons . The artist were exploring the copy/paste syndrome, which reminded me of the topic discussed by Nuqat Foundation during their last event.
