Oh no! Another Elephilphil to obsess about! And this time it's tinier and bright in one of my favorite shades, yellow! This cute little coin purse from Loewe , makes the perfect gift for your fashion savvy friends. I spotted it at the brand's boutique in Dubai while I was searching for my pink Elephilphil. Now that I found my pink elephant, I'm contemplating to get the yellow one, you know, to keep it company. 

Fashion has always inspired dance-wear and dance has always inspired fashion. Take for example District Design's drama caftan, which you can see a glimpse of in this photo, the waves at the lower part of their caftan is created by layers upon layers of fabric, quite similar to ballerina's tutu skirt. So it felt completely fit to pair my Miu Miu satin ballet/Punk flats with the caftan. The result was beautiful! Wouldn't you say? You can buy them online here .

My stylish friend J introduced me to this new local business called House of Jade . What they do is design customized chokers using your Arabic letter for KD 15 only. And since chokers are all the hype these days, and it looks so cute with the mini letter embroidered in gold on it, I gave in and got myself one. My 8 years old son is obsessed with elephants. I kid you not when I say he has at least 30 stuffed elephant toys laying down on his bed. All named and all loved equally the same. One of the nicknames that stuck to my mind is Elephilphil . I don't know if it's because I'm his mother, but I absolutely find the nickname so creative! And ever since he introduced me to Elephilphil , I became just as obsessed with elephants, maybe a little less than he is. So when I saw this cute little cross bag from Loewe shaped as a pink elephant , I just couldn't not get it! If there is one thing I regretted not buying from the Spring/Summer 2016 collections is this Rosie Assoulin crochet jug bag. I had the opportunity to pre-order it but I was a bit hesitant of its practicality. I wish I didn't hesitate and went for it, because I've been looking for it for months now and it's sold out technically everywhere! It would have been the perfect match with my Ramadan caftans. Oh well, if you happen to know a place I could still find out, please do let me know!  Moral of this post: When you heart stops a beat at an accessory or a piece of clothing you really really like, go for it (provided that you have the means to splurge that it).

Golden Goose sneakers were the flavor of the day for my peeps at the office the other day (year we're lucky to have a no-dress code policy in the office! Don't they look super cool in a "you-can't-sit-with-us" kind of way?! I like Golden Goose Delux Brand brand just as much as any sneakers-loving girl, but I have this dilemma with the sizing! Golden Goose Delux Brand is that kind of brand which is not consistent with the sizing, much like Louboutin you know? Which makes picking the right size online a nightmare. I bought a pair once online and it really felt like I was wearing 2 sizes smaller. I don't know if it's just me or other people can relate to it? Let me know your thoughts.

I discovered it by coincidence on my way to dropping my kids to Kidzania . Wasn't it just yesterday that made my "team flats" declaration??! And then I come across this hot fuchsia heel with a fancy collar by Aquazzura and suddenly I'm all weak in the knees! What can I say?! When it comes to fashion I somtimes get all bi-polar!! Had to practice a lot of self-restraint in order not to fall in its trap. So far I'm proud to say that I have succeeded. Now all I have to do is avoid passing by it.... good luck to me!

Call it growing old(er), but I find myself recently always striving for clothes and accessories that are both stylish and comfortable. I no longer have the stamina to wear something that's uncomfortable. Comfort has become a “must have” when it comes to my fashion purchases. So for shoes, I've been opting for fancy flats that are anything but boring. Like these pair by Max & Co. They're pointy, they're flats, they're covered in faux exotic skin, they don't break the bank, and their bright red! What's not to love?!?! You can find these pretty pointy flats at Max & Co. I can’t help myself… I love fur (faux and real!). The chicest and easiest way to dress up your any boring coat, knitted top, or jacket. I just spotted this half striped and half bright fox fur collar at Weekend by Maxmara and it was selling for KD 77 ONLY! A bargain I would say! I truly felt like it was calling my name. I just may have to have it. It comes in variety of colors, which would make this a perfect fit for whatever you wear.

I just got to know about this quirky-cool Italian brand called LEO Studio Design while browsing the selection at Harvey Nichols Kuwait . I love pieces with quirky flavor, but I know how I'll feel about them after a couple of months. I'll be like "What the hell was I thinking?!". HOWEVER! if the price points are not breaking the bank then there is no harm, right? I thought so too! So not only I loved the embroidery detail on the bags and shoes, but also their price tags! The shoes were selling for KD 53 only?!! Not bad at all! And the backpack was selling for 60 something?? I think I'm sold on this one! Scroll down to check out the other styles. 

The award of the boutique with the best selection of hairbands and hair accessories has to go to Mélange in Burj Jassim! If the name sounds familiar, it's because the boutique used to be in 360 Mall and it has recently moved to Burj Jassim in Kuwait City. I was quite impressed with the selection they had in store! Think Eugenia Kim leather hairbands with gigantic knotted details, golden 3D florals and leaves beautifully intertwined to create the prettiest crowns and hair brooches, and Jennifer Behr's handcrafted pieces mixed with sparkling Swarovski crystals on an intricate metalwork. I also loved their statement necklaces selection, very vintage-like and reminded me of the glorious 80's obsession with chain necklaces and pearls. Scroll down for more eye-candy!

Here's a quick review of some of the handbags that caught my attention the other day while shopping at Prestige, in the Avenues. Loving the color combo! I say yes to these timeless Chanel shoulder bags. Next.... Chanel bag... cute? Very!! Worth the investment? KD 990 for a fabric bag which hardly fits my junk? No thank you. Maybe it's best to invest in something of value like the ones here . Another drool-worthy bag! The matryoshka bag of the season: Prada's Inside Bag. I'm still debating whether I should go for it or not. I love the color, the concept, and the feel of the leather it self! Keeping this one on my wish list for now. The cutest mini monster bag charms by Fendi Cute! But I would only buy thisstyle if it was on sale... for 50% off no less!

Went shoe shopping the other day, my favorite kind of shopping, and found an assortment of shoes that ticked all the right boxes in my visual check-list: Stylish? Check. Comfy? Check. Styles not overly endorsed by not-so-super-instagrammers-who-think-they-are-super and international fashion magazines? (for some reason that's a turn-off for me) CHECK! Manolos , Louboutins , and Fendi . I would so wear the styles featured here in the order shown too, listed by preference. And they're all available in their respective brand boutiques in Prestige, the Avenues.

I am 100% dedicated Céline fan (and no this is not a sponsored or paid post, thank you). I could buy, use, and abuse almost all of its merchandise... If I had the spare money of course! I recently passed by the boutique to check out their pre-fall collection. It still amazes me how enthusiastic I get when I see Céline's regulars like the luggage bag and the box bag. Every season I tell myself I'm over the bag, but come new season, and I'm dragged again to that obsession hole. When the Céline box bag hit the scene, it quickly reached "It-bag" status. The shoulder/cross bag became highly coveted and highly carried by street style icons. To this day, I still find this box so appealing and classy! And the pre-fall designs offer new drool-worthy variations, like the burned dark chocolate one with the contrasting yellow stitching and the one with the exotic skin in a beautiful mustardy shade. Allow me to introduce you to one of my latest bags additions,  the  Iphis  Marlborough tote bag by Liberty. I came to know about it in Spring 2015, when  Liberty London launched new bag styles from  the  Iphis  line. The Iphis collection with its roots firmly embedded in classic English design, has its signature coated canvas base fabric screen printed with the Iphis monogram like print by-hand in Italy. Iphis is a modern reworking of the much-loved classic Liberty print ‘ Ianthe ’ which is a French Art-Nouveau wallpaper design dating back to c 1902. The print is named after Iphis who according to ancient Greek mythology was Ianthe's lover.  It is worth mentioning that all the bags in the Iphis collection are named after the renowned streets that surround the Liberty store. With sizzling hot and humid weather we're facing these days, it can be hard to keep your hairstyle in check once you leave the house, at least in my case. So I discovered, after years of hair catastrophes, that a fun hair accessory is a girl's best friend. I spotted this uber cool leather flower design hair clip by Fendi the other day at the Brand's boutique in Prestige, the Avenues. It would be perfect to clip it at the nape of the neck on your super-low ponytail for a perfectly-undone summery hair style. I must warn you though, this little pretty piece comes with a not-so-pretty price tag. If my memory serves me right, it was priced at KD 250 more or less.

The Métiers d'Art Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 bags selection has hit the shop floor at Chanel's boutique in Prestige, The Avenues. I find this collection to be more appealing for people living in colder climates. Yes the brand has brought back its amazing embroidery, liberal use of fantasy fabrics, and great interpretations of iconic pieces. But I still feel they don't have that longevity quality. I don't see myself carrying a bag made out of wool in the middle of the summer in Kuwait, and for my international readers Kuwait's summer can extend until December! Anya Hindmarch's frosted flakes tote bag is not new I know, BUT! Anya Hindmarch's compact shoulder bag IS! At least new to me! I usually don't get tempted into buying something that was a big hype LAST season, as I know that this sudden passion will soon fizzle before I know it, but this  cobalt-blue textured-leather baby cross bag is giving me a second thought. I know I'm loving it because of it's compact perfect-for-traveling size and the fact that it's embossed with the iconic ' Frosties ' character. So I decided to sleep on it and see if I still want it after 24 hours. Or maybe just settle for the Frosties leather sticker, my savings account would be more happy with that option.
