George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Second Wedding Bash in London Designed by Ammar Basheir

When George and Amal Clooney wanted to have their second wedding reception in London’s Dansfield House Hotel and Spa,They went for the talented interior designer Ammar Basheir, the name behind Bahrain’s most uber-chic interiors including Plums restaurant at Ritz-Carlton Hotel, AlOthman boutique in Bahrain, and most recently ON Motcomb boutique in London. I thought I'd share some photos of the event which I received from AlOthman Team through the interior designer himself.

According to the e-mail I have received, Basheir's debut scenography for an event in London has wowed the crowds with a magnificent marquee that was held by over-sized trees made with hand wooven crystal mesh completely covered in Swarovski crystals. 1000 porcelain Parrots have adorned the garden and the tables, adding a twist to the very much expected from Basheir. Olive trees and arrangements of Camellia leaves left little to the imagination, as a picture was complete of a garden without a single rose. The Giant Ali Baba pots were an oriental detail that sat gracefully in the opulent rooms of the Dansfield House Hotel and Spa. Scroll down for more photos of the intimate set-up.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
