Oh My Dior!

Thanks to Dior's new creative director, Raf Simons, my interest to the brand has increasingly spiked. I have always been inspired by Raf Simons's work and the moment I saw his first collection at Dior, I was in complete state of awe and admiration. He really made the house of Dior into something new, modern, and definitly better.

Anyhow, I paid a quick visit to the store the other day at the Grand Avenue/Prestige. I could't check out the ready-to-wear selection as my little boys were with me and I didn't want to cause a havoc! But the ground floor had some real eye candy! They had new colors of Dior's signature "Mise En Dior" earrings, quite the "IT" piece in the fashion world. And the funny thing is that I saw a couple of replicas at MANGO and here too! tsk tsk tsk!

I also loved the brand's new resort lace-up sandals, loved the fact that they had similar soles as the Dior sneakers, they looked comfy! Scroll down for a few more images...

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
