Mood Interiors in Dubai's JBR

During a recent visit to Dubai, I came across a furniture and home accessories boutique at Dubai's JBR The Walk. The uber-cool space is called Mood and it stocks a wide range of brands from Italy, Germany, Portugal, Denmark, France, Belgium and China. Mood is the kind of place where you will find the perfect combination for a unique and inspirational environment, the coolest homeware and accessories for your home, and probably the most stylish house-warming gifts for the perfect present.

I loved so many things on display but had to settle for only one piece, I bought sculpture of a man, best known as The Visitor. It's handcrafted by Belgian artist Guido Deleu. The Visitor Sculpture is a series of ceramic figurines finished with only natural elements like clay and color pigments. I thought it would make a striking addition to our TV Room. I'm planning to buy more of it once we move as it would look great in a grouping of multiples.

I can't say enough good things about Mood, and I would have continued to buy more pieces there, but unfortunately my home have run out of space, and I didn't want to worry about shipping to Kuwait and the fees that come with the shipping and handling, at least not for now, maybe when I move to my permeant home.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
