If you're planing for a quick getaway this Summer to Beirut then you must pass by Milia M boutique in Saifi Village. It's been there for a couple of year and it's one of my must-go shopping destinations whenever I'm in Beirut. And although I've had a not-so-pleasant experience with their customer service (let's just leave it at that!). I must admit that the designed pieces are really unique, especially the way the designer plays with textures and patterns adding some interesting details to designed pieces. And the craftsmanship is quite impressive, the kind you expect to see on international designer brands.
According to the designer's site, Milia M was born and brought up in Beirut but chose Paris to study fashion design. She launched her first collection in 1999. Since then, Milia M has been producing two collections a year and sells all over the world. Here are some of my favorite looks from her S/S 2011 collection.
