Underneath It All... Madame Bijouxx

When we’re on the hunt for loungewear and lingerie that won’t make you snooze, make Madame Bijouxx your first stop. Madame Bijouxx is Kuwait's first one of a kind boutique of exquisite collection of alluring lingerie that won't break the bank. Their price range is between KD 30 and up to KD 100 more or less.

It was my first time at Madame Bijouxx, and I'm so glad the owner Sara Al Abdul Kareem invited me to her newly-open store. There are so many beautiful undergarments and lingerie at Madame Bijouxx, and even though it may just be you (and your hubby) who get to see them, I really think that they can actually make you feel just as pretty as your normal or dressy clothes. The boutique carries a host of other essentials, such as night gowns, hosiery, comfy and light-as-air lounge wear (must check out a brand called Skin), slippers, lingerie bags, fuss-free camisoles and slips, and most importantly—a whole lot of body shapers. It also is the place to go for brides-to-be to stock up for their honeymoon and beyond, and also you can find some really classy and nice sets to buy as a a bridal or a bachelorette gift. There were many cute and sizzling hot bra sets that I wanted to photograph and share here, but I didn't want to cause a commotion, I think it's best if you check out the place for yourself. In the mean time, scroll down for bits of what's in-store.

Madame Bijouxx is located at Shuwaikh, Al Tilal Mall, Mezzanine. For inquiries, please call (965) 97663210. They're open Saturdays to Thursdays from 11am-7pm.

Loved how beautiful the wall paper is in the fitting room! It felt so vintage like and retro.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?
