The Address Downtown

I thought I'd share with you some photos of The hotel I stayed in during my visit to Dubai last week, The Address Downtown Dubai. It's a very convenient location if you want to be close to Dubai Mall, it's connected to it by a wooden external bridge, 2 minutes walk and you're there. Burj Khalifa and the lovely Dubai Fountain are just 5 to 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is less than 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport too.

I heard mixed reviews about the hotel from friends and family. My experience however was quite positive, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the room was very clean and comfortable, complimentary wireless Internet access (always a plus!), and the overall service was excellent.

My favorite part of the hotel has to be the chilled five-tier infinity pool overlooking the city. To my surprise it was very serene and beautiful. I wasn't planning to swim, but with a view like this how could I possibly resist taking a dip in the chilled pools??! Needless to say that my dermatologist wasn't quite pleased.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
