Burberry to Kick Off Fashion's Night Out‏ in Style

Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey and editor of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman, are to host the official kick off event for Fashion’s Night Out, at the Burberry flagship store on New Bond Street in London.

The evening cocktail party on 10 September for 300 guests. Following the cocktail event, Burberry will open its store to customers from 7PM to 12AM, where 10% of all purchases made in the store on the evening will be donated to the Burberry Foundation.

Customers to the store will also have the opportunity to win two tickets to the Burberry Prorsum Spring Summer 2010 womenswear show on Tuesday 22 September 2009 in London.

Burberry will be participating in the Fashion’s Night Out initiative in its stores in 7 additional cities globally – Berlin, Milan, Athens, New Dehli, Moscow, Tokyo and in two Burberry stores in New York. British model Lily Donaldson, featured here dressed in Burberry, will be DJing for the evening at the Burberry store in Soho, New York.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
