IKEA Paper Shop

I think I've been out of touch with the real world, or else how could I have possibly missed on IKEA's paper shop?! Why haven't I heard about it before! I was shopping around IKEA over the weekend, mental note... never ever go to IKEA on weekends, it was beyond crowded, and just as I reached the kitchen utensils section, I came across the new, fun, and colorful paper shop. Finally! Pretty gift wrap that's not dusty nor will it break the bank!

I found all sorts of pretty things, party sets, paper blocks, notepads, notebooks, decoration, gift boxes, gift bags, and paper napkins. All were really reasonably priced. I bought a couple of notepads for my office use. The patterns and illustrations used are really nice and refreshing. I hope they'll keep introducing new designs every season.

Hi!

This kinda takes me back to a paper shop we have outside the Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai. A must visit place if you are ever in town. (www.bombaypaperie.com). I find their paper jewelry particularly, intriguing and arresting: a guaranteed showstopper.

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
