It's been a while since I've last posted about things in my closet. The other day I was taking this photo of my very humble Delfina Delettrez collection, I forgot to add the DD ring, to be used in an interview. And thought why not share it with my awesome readers. I think so far she's my favorite jewelry designer. The way she uses unexpected details in her designs sets her apart from the rest. Her style has this quirky cool mix of edgy and lighthearted. I can still vividly remember her first exhibition in the Middle East, which was held in 2009 at Al Sabah Art & Design Gallery, now closed unfortunately. The display was so mesmerizing and her jewelry were adorned with lips, eyes, skulls, insects, and ferocious animals. I also remember seeing the designer herself there, being interviewed by a local newspaper. I think she was wearing a dress by Marni. I wish I took her pic that day.
