Where is Kitty

When I was a little girl I used to be obsessed with Hello Kitty. I had so many hello kitty products! From pencil cases to stationary. In fact, all hell did break loose between me and my sisters on who would get the Hello Kitty stickers first from MyToy shop in SalmiyaAnd now Liberty of London gave me a walk down memory lane. The high-end retailer has joined forces with Hello Kitty to introduce the iconic Liberty floral prints  with a hello Kitty twist. The result is five adorable fabric prints in eight colour ways. The Hello Kitty Liberty Print fabrics are now available to pre-order online with an expected delivery date of 28th September 2011. All I need now is a designer to work his/her magic on these fabrics to create something special for.. erm.. me! OK, I'll settle for a local tailor... and a gurgaia'an like bag, just to have a piece of Liberty x Kitty.

why would'nt you try to mix one of them with bold & vivid colors as been seen on some of tommy hilfiger's multi cropped-colors dresses from the last NYC runway show??

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture.
