Channel Your Inner Betty Draper

I was walking around the Avenues the other day when I noticed the window display of Banana Republic had an announcement stating that they have received the Mad Men Collection. So I immediately went in and  inquired about this limited-edition line. Apparently, it was created in collaboration with the show's Emmy-winning Costume Designer Janie Bryant. This capsule collection offers a modern take on '60s style and features nearly 65 pieces of apparel and accessories for men and women.

I wasn't over;y excited about the women's collection but it did have some pieces that I liked like a chic leopard print trench coat and  high-waisted skirts (loved them!). The collection also included some tailored floral dresses, lots of light weight colored cardigans, silk tie-neck blouses, and statement accessories like print scarves and leopard print pump heels. They're more suitable for office wear. Check it out if you're in the area.  You can get a better look at the collection by clicking here.
