Colorful Cocktail

It's March already! And you know what that means? It's time to shop for the perfect dress for the weddings and party season coming ahead. And this time, forget about boring blacks and gloomy greys. Colors were injected in dresses in so many ways creating a beautiful mix of unique prints and clashing colors. Let's start this post with my all time favorite designer, Erdem. The long sleeves embroidered dress is my ultimate favorite piece from the cruise collection. It's unbelievably well-cut and I bet you won't find it anywhere else online. Perfect for small weddings and formal parties. Price tag? KD 1,419...

Prabal Gurang gave an artistic scribbles to the white strapless fitted dress with an interesting mix of ruched and tiered details. Price tag? KD 1,229

Giambattista Valli animal print linen and chiffon dress retails for around KD 750

This dress looked borderline boring on the hanger but when I tried it on, it looked beyond beautiful. It has a full shape design, similar to Christopher Kane's cruise designs. The multi-colored dress is by Michael Angel and comes with an irresistible and very reasonable price tag of KD 305.

I liked the artistic details on this Matthew Williamson dress more than the dress itself. The dress was priced at KD 759 but now it's on 50% discount.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
