Royal Treatment


All hail the McQueen! I spotted these Alexander McQueen dresses in Harvey Nichols Dubai and I immediately felt overwhelmed by the exquisiteness of some of the pieces form the designer’s last collection for Fall 2010. The stunning billowy dresses, cut in hourglass silhouettes, were a mix of Dark Age sophistication with a modern edge. They felt so majestic! He really was a fashion genius, definitely a collector’s item. 

On a lighter note, I liked the window display of Dior’s Boutique with its gigantic Lady Dior bag skeleton. I was never a fan of Dior bags, but now with their recent ads and the bag's classic appeal, I’m starting to warm up to the idea of owning a Lady Dior.
