Edgy Ethical Luxe

I never paid attention to the ethics of a brand until few months back when I received an email from bright young clothes designer called Nur. And today I was thrilled to discover another fashion conscious accessories brand that competes on looks and quality with high-end designer stuff called Angel Jackson.

The British accessories label was created in 2005 by sisters Katie and Millie Smith. Winners of the Topshop New Designers Award, their first collection became renowned for luxury and their underground edgy cool style. The brand is regularly featured in international fashion publications, including Vogue, Elle, InStyle, and Nylon. Celebrity followers include fashionistas Daisy Lowe, Alice Dellal, Gwen Stefani, Pixie Geldof and Lady Gaga to name a few. All Angel Jackson products are produced in fair-trade workshops in Bali and Portugal.

Angel Jackson is stocked in the most prestigious stores throughout the world including Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols (London & Riyadh), Fenwick, Villa Moda, Le Bon Marche, and Henri Bendel.

The brand’s handbags & belts collection exudes the ultimate wild child/punk chic attitude, incorporating heavy hardware of metal studs, metallic leather, textured exotic leathers, oversized zip detailing, heavy sequin embellishment, and luxe jewel toned woven snakeskin clutches.

Fine out more here, and you can also order online, they ship internationally.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
