As Coco Once Said...

"Fashion fades, only style remains the same.", such a visionary quote by a legendary designer Coco Chanel. There’s something about Chanel that always makes me want to dress up in sophistication and elegance. Especially this season with it's shades of yummy pistachio green and baby pink (I'm absolutely head over heels over the above featured cross-bag in pink!!).

The all-generations classic Chanel suit in a refreshing young color

I'm in LUUUV with these black satin Chanel heels decorated a cute white fluff shaped as a camellia and a little velvet black bow. Utterly feminine and whimsical !

Chanel boutique is located in Salhiya Complex, Kuwait City. For any questions, please call (+965) 2245-9290.

300? Hasn't Chanel raised it's prices for it's 2.55s. LV has raised it's prices on everything.

CHANEL raised there prices>
this bag is only a wallet with chain SO 300 KD IS JUST FINE .

classic flaps are now 20% more than last year but its investment :)

They have only raised because of the euro. However, Kuwait prices are ridiculously way more than anywhere else, and plus they never get anything, they are always behind!!!
The cheapest place to buy chanel (since i am an addict and compared) is terminal 5 heathrow airport!!

The one featured here is not the 2.55, and as I said it's close to KD 400.. so generally speaking, all luxuray brands have raised their mark-up due to many factors including the euro..

It's more of a mini cross chain bag than a wallet.. And I agree with the second part or your comment :)

Chanel boutique in Kuwait does get the latest collections but in very limited quantities and not much of a big variety. Plus the fact that most of their new bags are usually hidden behind the counter for certain clients doesn't help either..

The pistachio green suite is amazing.
Love that color on Chanel.
The bag is cute too.

Speaking of raising prices, apparently most brands did, except for Dolce&Gabbana/D&G, they promised since Fall 2009 they would cut down their prices by 20%, and if you go now and compare, they totally did.
It's their way of "paying back their customers" and helping with the economy, of course, in return, you'll notice some D&G items (particularly a messenger bag I just noticed at their boutique, is now OFFICIALLY made in China!).

Oh, checked out the Miss Sicily crochet with exotic leather DlceGabbana bag, not bad at all. I often hate their bags, but this one's nice.

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

To New Beginnings...

"What did this Corona crisis teach you?" my friend asked. My first thought was thing crisis has opened my eyes on the simple pleasures of life. My priorities have changed. And I feel every day is a new beginning. First of all, it made me realize how much I miss blogging. How simple and mentally satisfying it was to jolt down my thoughts on a field that I was very passionate about. I have to admit that I'm not as passionate now. Don't get me wrong, I still like fashion, but it's now on the bottom of my priorities list. I would like to blog about other things too that I feel much related to. I recently discovered that I do enjoy cooking. For the longest time, cooking to me was a nightmare.  This corona crisis has taught us that we can look forward to a new day with new possibilities to contribute or to help another, or to simply approach things differently, and most importantly to make the most of each day we have and share that goodness with others.
