OK, I HATE this time of the year, when most of Kuwait's shops are on a "pause" mood: - No new Fall collections
- Pre-fall collections are very limited/boring
- New collections will be on display just weeks before Eid
- Some summer collections are still to this day full-priced even though you can find the same items online on 50% discount!
So I find it quite difficult finding nice AND new items in stores. Anyhow, on a recent shopping trip to Villa Moda Shuwaikh. I found 3 cute items, but they're from the s/s 2009 collection, they are not on sale. This Meher & Riddhima vibrant mint green top with ruched details on the sleeves is fun to wear for casual outings. It comes with a bright pink necklace made out of long twisted fabric. Price tag? KD 197.
I loved this Akira bright orange short sleeves dress, it has a great fit. The details of the sleeves, fabric mix'n'matching with some matt golden embroidery makes it ideal for Ramadan's formal outings. Price tag? KD 531.
Another elegent find for women in their 40's and 50's, Akira light jacket which would look very classy paired with stright cut pants or dresses. Price tag? KD 510.
