I have a weakness for Bottega Veneta's intrecciato woven leather. So my heart skipped a beat when I saw this beautiful and perfectly sized everyday bag at Villa Moda Mubarikiya. The combination of black, dirty pink, and red weaved & colored leather give the bag timeless chic style. Price tag? Around KD 480 (Yes!! For a Bottega bag!). A small price to pay for a great investment piece which you will cherish for years to come.

You know I love Bottega Venetta and their bags are really special and classy. BUT my Bottega Venetta, the three shades of bronze patent one, had a couple of things come out of it and I only bought it around Christmas time. You know the weave things? Like the actual leather went out of the weave on two spots. Part of me is thinking that maybe I picked at it while watching a movie without thinking but for the other part I don't think I did that. Anyway I got really really disappointed and even a little pissed at how easy it was for the thing to come out and now I get really hesitant before buying a Bottega Venetta because I worry that I'm not getting nearly enough value for money.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
