The Lucky Dress

I have heard of the "it" bag, and the "it" shoes, but this season the fashion industry came up with a thing called the "it" dress. But of course, it's the type of dress that apparently flatters all body shapes and has been donned by several celebrities such as Scarlett Johansson (shown here in her black version of the dress), Kiera Knightly, Madonna, and Kirstin Davis in one of her SATC movie scenes (it was a red dress). And it's called The "Lucky Dress" by Issa.

When I first saw it, I wasn't too impressed. But after giving it a thorough look, it became interesting. It has that vintage look and feel to it and best of all it can be dressed up with platform heels and long strands of pearl necklaces, or dressed down with a pair flats, a hobo bag, and stacked bracelets.

The summer version of the dress is currently sold out around the world. However, there will be 3 different colors versions of the dress for the Autumn/Winter collection, and I bet there is already a month long waiting list to get it.

Fashion have always had a love affair with a particular item labeled as 'the little black dress' the term 'it dress' resurfaced with the superb utter Galaxy dress. Normally the 'it' does wonders for sales but soars amongst those in the industry; the transformation was noticed with the rocketing popularity of Chloe's Paddy, while the bag is lovely in its buttery soft leather and trademark padlock its abundance made some tweak. In general, 'it' means mass production+the equivalence of being available to the general public. Saw the dress in Vogue, cute – not bad … could have been knee length though to balance out the mesh back.

it is cute but that is about it. Issa is lucky as her celebrity friends wear her clothes and get shot all the time. I do love her stuff but some of it is totally overrated...........like this one maybe

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
