Calling all LV's Limited Edition Bags Collectors

Nothing I love tackling more than finding limited edition items in Kuwait. Let's all welcome the Louis Vuitton Aquarelle Bag released earlier last week at LV's boutiques located at Salhiya Complex. This limited edition bag is probably the only bag from Richard Prince collaboration with Marc Jacobs which I actually like... A LOT.

The modified version of the Speedy has a wooden frame with washed out and smudged watercolor monogram. The handles are made of mulit-colored lizard skin, which makes it easy to wear with almost everything. I love the way it opens up, you can see everything in your bag with one glance, which also makes it easy to find your car keys. It only comes in this size and color. And girlfriend, expect to pay a hefty KD 1,050 for this piece of art. Yup.

If that's waaay over your budget, then you can get the smaller version of the bag (shown below) but in blackish-brown. I think it cost something around KD 900 or KD 800, not sure. Honestly? It doesn't look as nice as the white one. But if you're a "collector's-item" type of gal and on a budget, then this should do the trick.

the first bag pictured is featured in the current May issue of UK Elle, page 271(right botom corner) priced A 1,650 pounds.. I think am going to write a lovely letter to the head office of LV- I truly loathe being scammed.

Honey, you aren't being scammed unless you buy the bag. Moreover, if you don't agree with the price, just call any LV store in London and ask them if they can ship to Kuwait. Simple, eh?

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
